Aileen and her husband, Raquim Faisel, were low-level Al-Qaeda agents living in the United States. As part of an Al-Qaeda plan, Morgan and Faisel are assigned to buy a house within the range of a Marine One airfield. The CIA discovers the house, causing the pair to flee. Faisel is killed, and Morgan is arrested in Mexico by Saul Berenson. In exchange for Raqim Faisel receives an impure burial, she identifies the al-Qaeda accomplice who was sent to her home as former Marine Tom Walker.

On the day that he is scheduled to make a speech at Jessica's fundraiser, Brody gets a call from Roya. Roya explains that the CIA has acquired intelligence which leads to the tailor in Gettysburg who crafted Brody's suicide vest. She says that the tailor needs to be picked up and brought to a safehouse, but that it must be done by someone he knows, namely Brody. Brody makes the drive to Gettysburg and picks up the tailor who is reluctant to go. The tailor nervously asks what fate awaits him when he gets to the safehouse, to which Brody has no answers. A flat tire delays their trip. While Brody is changing the tire, the tailor considers attacking Brody with a tire iron but doesn't do it.

During a stop at a gas station, the tailor runs away. Brody chases him into a nearby forest. The tailor hits Brody from behind with a large rock and run. Brody is able to chase him down and tackle him, then realizes that the tailor has been impaled on a stake that was sticking out of the ground. The tailor begs to be taken to a hospital. Brody refuses, instead doing his best to administer first aid and stop the bleeding. Jessica calls Brody on his cell phone. Brody explains his tardiness by saying that he got a flat tire. The tailor, in his weakened state, moans for help while Brody is on the phone. Brody tries to keep him quiet, but with his efforts unsuccessful, he kills the tailor by breaking his neck. Jessica hears the commotion over the phone and can tell something is amiss.

I did not understand:

When Brody killed Akbari, the assumption is that the media probably threw it away, since Brody was just an unstable person due to his captivity under Abu Nazir.

Could it be possible to clarify this part better?

As the pressure builds on Carrie during the third series, her bipolar condition plays an increasingly central role in the drama.

“Carrie is extremely driven and focused. She is willing to sacrifice everything in order to do her job,” says Claire.

“Part of her brilliance is to do with her being bipolar, but that brilliance has to be carefully monitored. In this season, all those dazzling insights will become a chaotic mess. She is really on the edge of sanity.”

Damian, who has also starred in Band Of Brothers and The Forsyte Saga, thinks that these two characters are inexorably drawn to each other because they are equally damaged. “There is a recognition between Carrie and Brody. They are two broken-winged birds.”

Meanwhile, Claire, who last December gave birth to her first child, a son called Cyrus, reckons that at first, “Carrie and Brody think they’re playing each other. They do fall in love, and it’s a doomed romance.”

Claire, who, like Damian, has won multiple awards for her performance in Homeland, reflects that, “Carrie knows how dangerous her behaviour can be, especially in intimate relationships.

So she has a great reluctance about becoming close to anyone.”

As we can all see, Homeland has lost its compulsive quality in this third season due to the poor organization of the script for this plot.
